Everyone needs a reason to pursue a goal or objective.  I lost both parents in less than 18 months.  I was on the same track when I learned that I may be a Granddaddy in the near future.  Richard agreed to use me as a beta subject.  Personally, I did not believe that I was capable of going from the way I had been eating & drinking my entire life to eating foods that the “world” states is “bad” for you. As it turns out, it’s lifesaving for people but deadly to big Pharma and the folks who make an incredible amount of money off of “feeding” the US the processed foods that have been pushed and preached to us our entire lives…  I am convinced that Richard’s guidance, tutorship, encouragement and “in your face” style, (when necessary), has extended my life by decades.  I own a construction company.  I work hard.  I play hard.  I have lived hard and always thought I was indestructible.   I learned in the last year that I was not immortal and was on the same path as my folks.  Richard convinced me to make certain that I was not.  This will change not only your life expectancy, but your life.  Your partner will thank you.  Your children/grandchildren will thank you.  Your loved ones will thank you.  What will they thank you for? For being around and not dying of Dementia, (my mother), multiple cancers, (my father).  For being everything you can be.  Age is irrelevant.  I am almost 60 years old and in better shape than I was in my late 20’s & early 30’s.

It might seem a bit weird for me to appear in my own testimonial page, but this website is my testimonial, so it seemed appropriate to post before and after pictures here.

As the adage goes, a picture is worth a 1000 words. Only three words came to mind when I saw my before picture, “Christ, I’m fat.” It was at this point I decided to take Richard up on his offer to beta test his Be Lean for Life program. I sat down with Richard, and we came up with a game plan to change my life through proper nutrition.

I will admit it was difficult in the beginning. I used to travel and the people I worked with were fast food fanatics.  I was a fast food fanatic. Through Richard’s tutelage, and self-determination, I was able to kick this bad habit. Through the BLFL program, Richard is able to track my progress; sending detailed weekly reports on my nutritional intake pointing out what I am doing right and address areas I need improvement.

Through the BLFL program I have lost more than 35 pounds and feel fantastic. I turned 59 this summer.  My shirt size has gone from an XL to M and waist size from 36 to 32, sizes I have not seen since my college days. This program is not a diet, this program is a life style change, a change I am glad I made and one I encourage everyone to make.
